The vehicle is broken down into several zones each designated by an item number.
Heightwise breakdown :
Widthwise breakdown :
B : Central part
For D - C 5l - C 8l vehicles :
Breakdown by length :
Breakdown by length :
Zone 1 indicates :
- on the cab, the components of the front end accessible via the radiator grille.
Example :
C2b : dashboard
– A letter standing for the revision index for the illustration. This is to be found on the same line as the reference number.

Graphic conventions
Variants
The thick line (1) represents a part of the electrical circuit lo-
cated in the electrical distribution box.
The fine line (2) represents a part of the electrical circuit lo-
cated outside the electrical distribution box.
The item (3) represents a terminal of the connector located
on the electrical distribution box.
Example with an alphanumerical item A01.CB12:11 :
– A01.CB12 : name of the connector;
– 11 : number of the terminal of that connector.
T3145365
For D - C 5l - C 8l vehicles :
24V/12V "main"
The power supply is taken after the master switch and after a negative booster in the case of 12V.
Wiring Harnesses
Presentation of connectors :
(1) : connector number
(2) : code number of appliance to which it is connected
(3) : terminal number
(4) : number of the wire in the terminal

The terminals of the electrical distribution box are also shown in the basic diagram.
Each side of the electrical distribution box is detailed in the "Electrical distribution" chapter.
The chassis-cab connection box enables the information to be found inside the cab to cross the bulkhead and be routed to
the outside and vice versa.
Each connector of the chassis-cab connection box is detailed in the "Chassis-cab/bulkhead grommet connection" chapter.
Protection of appliances
WARNING
Bearing in mind the presence of numerous electronic appliances, the use of a test lamp is to be avoided. Prefera-
bly use a needle or digital type multi-meter.
WARNING
It is forbidden to apply voltage to the terminals of electronic appliances or you may cause irreparable damage to
the hardware. Consequently, no line continuity measurement should be made on the wires without having previ-
ously disconnected the appliances from the lines concerned.
