Word dictionary
Deportation – Forceful moving of citizens to another area or another country.

Terror – Action taken with the goal to frighten, scare or destroy.


Occupation – Invading another country and taking its land with force.
Repression – Pressuring, removal of rights; forceful punishments provided by the country.
Genocide – Whole or partial destruction of specific groups of people.

1945.-1991. – Latvia within PSRS.
1991. – Latvian Republic restoration.

May 4th, 1990. – Declaration on the restoration of independence of Latvia.
