Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention specific concerns regarding my career progression and
to request your kind consideration for promotion to Associate Professor.
I joined the Department of Business at the University of Poonch on May 30, 2005, and have
served diligently for the past 19 years. During this time, I completed my PhD in Finance and
have contributed significantly to academia with 28 publications.

When I initially joined the department, there were only 52 students, and I was the sole MPhil
faculty member entrusted with establishing and developing the student body. Over the years,
due to my efforts and leadership, the department flourished, and the student count increased
significantly to approximately 1700 when I left my role as Head of the Department after
serving in that capacity for five years.

Given my extensive service and contributions to the university, I have only seven years until
retirement. Therefore, I request your support in considering my application for promotion to
Associate Professor. My experience, qualifications, and academic achievements make me
deserving of this advancement.

Please consider my case and grant me the opportunity to continue serving this esteemed
institution at a higher academic level.
