What do they eat?
The Jinn eat the bones from the animals that humans have eaten. A
Muslim Jinn once asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
what He could eat. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said
"An ifreet (strong one) from the Jinns said: I will bring it
[her throne] to you before you rise from your place. And
verily, I am indeed strong, and trustworthy for such work.
One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: I will
bring it to you within the twinkling of an eye! Then when
Sulayman saw it placed before him, he said, This is by the
Grace of my Lord."
{Qur'an 27:39-40}
The Jinn are of 3 types

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
said: “Whoever says “La ilaha ill-Allah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli
shayin qadeer” one hundred times in the day, will have a reward equivalent to that of freeing ten slaves, one
hundred hasanahs (good deeds) will be recorded for him, and one hundred sayiahs (bad deeds) will be
erased from his record, and it will be protection for him from the shaytan for that day, until evening comes.
No one could achieve any better than him except the one who does more than he did.” {Bukhari and Muslim}
