Does the author look to gain anything from publishing this source?
Context - Describe the events, attitudes, perceptions and values that existed during the
time that the source was created.
What was happening politically, economically, socially, and technologically at the time?
Evidence - What specific evidence within the source can be used to support the objective
and message of the source?
Can and do other sources support or contest the evidence within this source?

All will understand the ADAMANT questions and apply some to a Medieval
source
All will annotate a Medieval source, provided in class, using some parts of
ADAMANT
Some will fully annotate a source correctly and locate a Medieval Source for
their upcoming Formative Assessment
