Title: Project Proposal for Smart Bridge Model with

Integration of Smart Toll Tax System and Flood
Prevention Technology
Purpose: STEM Fest-2024, Intl. Hope School,
Chattogram.

Overview of the Project:
Our innovative bridge model includes a sensor system that carefully tracks variations in the
surrounding environment, particularly the water levels surrounding the bridge structure. By
working together with a servo motor, the integrated circuit promptly reacts to these
conditions, enabling the bridge to proactively take necessary measures. Additionally, it also
incorporates a security system to prevent unauthorized access.

Advantages of the Circuit Model:

Early Warning System:
The sensor is an early warning system as it signals for potential flooding which makes it
possible to make appropriate responses to changing environmental conditions well in time.

Automated Response:
Under control of the circuit, this servo motor allows the bridge model to autonomously react
to any threats detected on its path. Thus, it underscores how automation can be utilized as a
means of managing infrastructure and safeguarding vital structures.

Public Safety:
By avoiding floodwater on the bridge, this circuit enhances public safety. This keeps the
bridge from collapsing, thus reducing risks of accidents or disruptions caused by floods.

Integration with Smart Toll Tax System:

An additional step we would propose towards making our smart bridge more functional is
integrating the Smart Toll Tax System. This extra feature will not only provide an opportunity
for our circuit to show how versatile it is but also facilitate proper management of vehicles
as they cross the bridge.

Smart Toll Tax System Benefits:

We have used RFID technology and servo motors to introduce a completely automated form
of toll collection, aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow and reducing congestion on the
bridge.
Improved Safety:
The unified system will contain RFID cards used in paying tolls, thus accomplishing safe and
convenient identification that will contribute to complete safety and vehicle management.

In conclusion:
This intriguing project demonstrates how technology can be applied practically whilst
dealing with real-life challenges like preventing floods on bridges. The heart of this
undertaking rests on a smart bridge model fitted with an embedded circuit that acts
proactively towards managing and addressing any impacts of floods. By doing so, we gain all-
around practical experience in flooding prevention as well as toll tax management touching
various fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
