from reality at some point or the other in our own way. What is your refuge and what leads
you there.

Prepare a research-based project with Pictorial presentation on the topic ‘Refuge from
Reality ‘with reference to the themes of ‘The Third Level ‘and ‘Keeping Quiet’ as per
CBSE guidelines (mentioned below) including minimum five to six anecdotes/experiences
of your friends or relatives. You need to paste pictures on the left-hand side of the file. All
data should be collected authentically and a handwritten report of 1000 words to be written
on the right-hand side.

· develop the communication skills to argue logically

The expectations of the project work are

that:
· learners will complete only ONE project in each academic session
· project should be of 3,500-4,000 words (excluding diagrams & graphs),
hand-written [Minimum 25 pages]
· it will be an independent, self-directed piece of study

Scope of the project:

Learners may work upon the following lines as a suggested flow chart:
Choose a title/topic
Collection of the research material/data
Organization of material/data
Present material/data
Analysing the material/data for conclusion
Draw the relevant conclusion
Presentation of the Project Work
Expected Checklist:
· Introduction of topic/title
· Identifying the causes, consequences and/or remedies
· Various stakeholders and effect on each of them
· Advantages and disadvantages of situations or issues identified
· Short-term and long-term implications of economic strategies suggested in the
course of research
· Validity, reliability, appropriateness and relevance of data used for research work
and for presentation in the project file
· Presentation and writing that is succinct and coherent in project file
· Citation of the materials referred to, in the file in footnotes,
resources section, etc.

INFORMATCS PRACTICES

Central Board of Secondary Education has asked to make a project in Informatics Practices.
There is a purpose behind these projects. It is to find out whether the student is able to apply
the whole knowledge in his daily life acquired during these years. Create a project using Python
Pandas and CSV or MySQL. The project can be on any topic. Students in group of 2-3 are
required to work collaboratively to develop a project using Programming and Database skills
learnt during the course. The project should be an application in any one of the domains – e-
Governance, e-Business and e-Learning - with GUI front-end and corresponding database at
the back-end\.
