OBJECTIVE:

 Students will be able to write an expository text describing who they are.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?

 Write a one-page expository text which includes the following components:


o Introduction paragraph: Write a paragraph introducing the purpose of the text.
o Body paragraphs: Write expository body paragraphs describing the members of the group;
write one paragraph per member. Include the following information in the descriptions: name,
age, profession or occupation, physical and personality description, and preferences.
o Conclusion paragraph: Write a conclusion paragraph answering the following question: How
are you and your classmates similar or different?
 Consider the following when writing your biographies:
o You must write expository paragraphs. So, each biography must include a topic sentence, body
sentences, and a conclusion sentence.
o Include examples of indefinite articles. Highlight the examples with yellow color.
o Include examples of possessive adjectives. Highlight the examples with green color.
o Include adjectives for describing physical appearance and personality. Highlight some of the
adjectives with blue color.
o Read the evaluation rubric and make sure your text meets the evaluation criteria.
o Use the given format to submit your biographies.
o All group members must submit the text in the platform.
