First of all, thanks to Allah SWT because of Allah SWT, writer finished writing the paper
entitled “Meetinghouse building"
right in the calculated time. Also thanks to the parents for supporting writer’s project with bunch
of things so writer’s can finish this project by time.
The purpose of writing this paper is to fulfill the assignment that has been given by Mr.Taufiq
Rochman as a lecturer in LADS major.
in arranging this paper, the writer trully get lots of challenges and obstructions but with the help
of many indiviuals, those obstructions could passed. writer also realized that there are still many
mistakes in the process of writing this paper.
because of that, the writer says thank you to all individuals who helps in the process of writing
this paper. hopefully Allah replies all helps and bless you all. The writer realized tha this paper
still imperfect in arrangement and the content. Then the writer hope the criticism from the
readers can help the writer in perfecting the next paper. Last but not the least Hopefully, this
paper can helps the readers to gain more knowledge about Bridge Engineering major.

CHAPTER I
BASIC CONCEPT OF STRUCTURAL PLANNING
1.1 Structure Description
In construction, “structure” refers to the arrangement and organization of various
components and elements that make up a building or any other engineered construction. It
encompasses the framework or skeleton of the construction that provides support, stability,
and load-bearing capacity.
Structures are designed to withstand the forces and loads they may encounter, such
as gravity, wind, seismic activity, and the weight of occupants or equipment. The primary
purpose of a structure is to ensure the safety and integrity of the building, ensuring it can
perform its intended function without failure.
Structural components typically include beams, columns, walls, floors, roofs,
foundations, and other elements that contribute to the overall stability and strength of the
construction. These components are often made from steel, concrete, wood, or a
combination of materials.

1.3 Materials Quality
This is the materials quality used in planning this meetinghouse building.
• Concrete : 30 MPa
• Main Reinforcement : BJTS 400 MPa
• Stirrups : BJTP 280 MPa
• Location : Malang city
• Soil Condition : Hard soil
• Building Function : Meetinghouse building
• Column to Y : 4M
• Column to X : 3M (Rectangular)
• Column to Z : 3M (Rectangular)
1.4 Loading
There are some loads that will be applied to this building, there are :
• Dead Load (DL)
• Live Load (LL)
• Earthquake Load ( ELX & ELZ )
• Wind Load ( WLX & WLZ )
• Rain Load (RL)
This is the effect of all seismic load that applied to the building and the severe
problems is affecting to the beam of the building.
Here is the calculation :

DESIGN
3.1 Roof
3.2 Slab
This is the sight of the slab from under the building and it has dimension of 3x3 meters of each
slab so the length of the building is 8 slab so it is 24 meters long and a24 meters width because
it is rectangular.
3.3 Beam
Beam is actually structure that’s pararel to X and pararel to Z, so it’s the picture of the
beams in this parking building, beam is the one most affected by the seismic load and it
bends all over the building.
3.4 Column
Column is the one that parallel to Y axis, column is the structure that holds the building up
and this structure hold most of the wind load, (WLX & WLZ)
3.5 Pilce cap
So this is the building when it get affected by combination load but if its already use pile cap,
there are 2 types that affect the pile cap, it is MX and MY
This is the calculation for the pile cap.

2. The structure of the beam with dimensions of 1200/400, the concrete quality
of 30 Mpa, and the quality of the 400 Mpa bone fertilizer in the focal area is
designed as a crawl beam with a pull bone of 7 32 mm in diameter and a press
bone of 2 diameters of 32 mm. whereas on the field daerqah is designed as a
T-– Square beam with a pull bone of 10 diameters 22 and a press bone of 6
diameters of 22 mm. for dashes on the focus district of the beam is used with
a diameter 14 mm with a distance of 150 mm along 1400 mm whereas in the
field area is used bone 13 mm in diameter with a distance of 300 mm.
4. Bored pile foundation structure with a diameter of 600 mm, concrete quality
of 30 Mpa, and steel quality of 400 Mpa uses the main repeating of 6 pieces
of 22 mm diameter. For the circular bored pile foundation sengkang,
reinforcement of 22 mm diameter with a distance of 6000 mm is used.
5. The pile cap structure with a diameter of 500 mm, concrete quality of 30 MPa,
and steel quality of 400 MPa uses 19 mm main reinforcement with a distance
of 100 mm for the tensile and repeating area of 19 mm diameter with a
distance of 100 mm for the pressure area.
6. The implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) by integrating
the STAAD.pro in the structural planning of the Lecture Building including the
building structure modeling process which is only carried out once for several
functions of designing, analyzing, detailing elements and quantity takeoff
element to calculate volume. This can speed up the process of calculating the
building cost budget plan because there is no need to calculate the volume of
work manually.
4.2 Suggestion
Based on the results of the analysis and modeling design, it is
recomendation:
1. Detailing the 3D model with great attention to the concept of detailing in real
time so that there are no errors in the output volume of each element that
has been created.
