1. What difficulties are they experiencing in teaching?

The difficulties that they experience in teaching are mostly about classroom
management. Unlike those who take an education course that was taught about
techniques of managing classrooms especially with high number of students, they
find it difficult to catch up. As well as using different learning styles to accomodate
the students, on their first years of teaching they usually used a single learning style
and repeat it every single lesson making it repetitive and reducing the efficiency of
learning and the interest of the students.
2. Do you agree that a four-year teacher education course is a better preparation for the
teaching profession?

Although they tend to have more knowledge about the subject thought as they
specialize it, they agree that an education course is a better preparation for teaching
profession. As with that course they not only learn about the subjects alone, but also
techniques, strategies and learning styles that will help a future teacher to manage a
class, guiding the students and increasing the effectiveness of learning through
incorporating their ideas with the knowledge they have learned while taking the 4
year course of education.

3. What provisions in RA 9293 contribute to ensuring that teachers fielded are quality
teachers? Discuss

RA 9293, commonly known as the "Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers

(PPST) Act," contributes to assuring quality teachers by providing clear criteria for
teacher education programs, licensure examinations, and professional development.
To be a qualified and quality teacher, you must be aligned with what said in the law.
Even though they didn't take an education course, passing the licensure examination
as well as continuing education and learning through attending seminars and taking
masteral degree is what they think let them become a quality teacher. They also gave
importance on the well-being of the students and ensuring them to learn and develop
through their teachings and lessons.
