Personal Profile

I have a dedicated and committed character and would be a great asset to any employer. I
am bright, receptive and well organised and give my best in everything I do. I am
enthusiastic, keen to learn, and have a high level of motivation and self-discipline. I am a
lively and confident communicator. I build new relationships easily and understand the
importance of team work as well as working on an individual basis. I am adaptable and will
always go the extra mile to help others. I am able to work with minimum supervision and
am quick thinking and resourceful. I am now looking for a rewarding position where I can
make a contribution utilising my skills and experience. As an employee I am very
dependable, this is something I place great value on, following my achievement of 15 years
unbroken school attendance.

Hobbies and interests

I have a number of general interests, the main one being socialising and meet new people. I
enjoy communicating with new people and adapting to their personalities. I am also an

Woodward Solicitors – Within I worked as an individual as well as working within a team,


shadowing a solicitor for the four weeks I worked there. This led me to gaining a lot of
experiences in to the different procedures and aspects, a solicitor and the particular firm
deal with and undertake.

St Helens Law – I worked as an assistant to a solicitor, shadowing a senior solicitor. This led
to me interviewing and helping clients with their needs as well as looking at and into cases
in relation to Land law and commercial disputes.

Waiter – 2008 – 2010 – I had worked as a waiter for Cardinal Heenan high school on various
occasions when they held functions.

Poundstretcher – June 2011 – September 2011 – Sales assistant – This was a summer job
whilst I was back from university. This particular post assisted me regarding customer
service issues, learning how to deal and resolve with sometimes, awkward situations and
give me further experience and insight into what a customer’s expectations, and needs are
and how to meet them needs and demands.

McCauley’s nightclub – October 2011 – July 2012 – In this role I was a promotion manager.
This involved work such as engaging with customers, promoting a product and business and
helped me personally improve my communication skills to a better standard than what it
already was. It breeded confidence which was necessary in this role.

J2 Nightclub – July 2012 – May 2013 – In this role, I was a bartender as well as a bar backer.
This involved adapting to new skills and roles in terms of counting tills as well as carrying on
my good standard of customer service and how to deal with the general and specific needs
a customer demands.

Square Lounge Nightclub – May 2013 – 10/01/2014 – In this role, I took control of ordering
and managing stock, as well as counting tills at the end of each shift. As well as this I was the
promotions manager having my own team taking on a lot more responsibility.

Swift Advice Call Centre – April 2014 – 18th July 2014 – in this role I was dealing with road
traffic accidents and assisting and helping customers in the aftermath of any accident. I
would be on the telephone, filling forms out and undertaking admin duties.

HRGO – August 2014-August 2016 – This role entailed working as a representative for River
Island processing customer orders and grievances. My aims would be to offer a competent
service and satisfactory outcome for customers. This means adhering to company policy and
working within a legal framework, which often working with the Sales of Goods Act,
Consumer Rights Act and Data Protection laws. I have developed good communication skills
on the telephone, which has helped develop attentiveness to detail, and clarity when
processing customer orders. Various people commented on my tone and manner towards
customers, which has enabled me to work in a sensitive and empathic way with customers
who may be upset and angry.
Carpenters Law – August 2016-April 2023 – This was a new role and insight in to the world
of insurance and motor legal protection as well as insurance in general. I started off as an
agent on the telephone not having the first idea of how insurance or the motor industry
worked in general. However I utilised my enthusiasm and focus to learn and adapt and was
a coach for the last three years of this role which I have really enjoyed. I also handled
complaints and resolved the complaints initially after they were made, before they were
potentially escalated to our Customer Relations Team. This was a job I have loved in every
way, both the job itself and the people I work with. I have been assisting customers as well
as help improve other staff members, however i was at a point where I wanted to challenge
myself further and build on my knowledge and work ethic.

AED Loss Adjusting – April 2023- Current. This role, again was a change in the nature of my
job and role. I was a claims technician assisting and having a major role in managing two
Loss Adjusters in home insurance. My role involved engaging with Insured’s, Insurers,
suppliers over the telephone and email; I have some experience of writing Reports
recommending works and payments to Insurers in a professional manner and structure,
whether that be Buildings, Contents or Alternative Accommodation. I have picked up and
learnt a lot within this time and continue to progress.
