Introduction
Characteristics: warmth, competence & morality
Research by Fiske et al. (2002) and Goodwin (2015) has shown that
the dimensions of morality, warmth and competence underlie impression
formation. Compared to warmth and competence, morality is the
strongest predictor of perceptions.
Central question: “Does sharing your doubts influence the way in
which you are perceived warm, competent & moral?”
Hypothesis: “People who share their doubts will be perceived more warm, competent & moral”

• Research design N = 341 after excluding N=224
3 scenario’s x 2 conditions ♂ = 44% ♀ = 55% ⚧ = 1%
