Ways to work with crochet


General notes Work in continuous rounds
Work the last stitch of the round, then work
the first stitch of the following round. To join
the rounds, NO slip stitch is required. Instead,
continue working each round on a spiral way
with the type of stitch indicated.
Work in joined rounds

Work in rows

Arms joining
The step of putting wire in the arms is
completely optional and it’s up to you if you
decide to use or not use wire to articulate the
arms, instead you can just sew the arms to the

body.
In case you want to use wire, then: cut a piece
of wire the length of the arms and body plus
5 cm, fold one end as shown in F5 and cover it
with tape (F6). Pass the unfolded end through
the whole body, at the height of round 30 (F7)
and insert an arm, making sure that the thumb
points forward (F8). With the long tail from the
arm, sew it to the body (F9) always sewing at F10
the height of the 30th round (not the last round
you crocheted).
Fold the other end of the wire and cover it with
tape (F10). Sew the second arm in the same
way as the first one (F11). Now continue making

Sew the topping to the head, placing the 3rd and
4th tip above the forehead, with the wrong side

Peppermint candy
The candies are worked with the Jacquard
technique, which means that in the same round,
you will change the colors. The color you will
