MODE OF TOURNAMENT
Proposed Type of Tournament

Round Robin (Bracket) Type of Tournament will be used in this game.

a. Number of Teams:14 Teams

b. Computation for the number of games

The tournament will be divided into 2 Bracket A is the first 7 teams(Men) and Bracket B is

another 7 teams(Women)

Solve for 14 teams in Round Robin Type of Tournament by Bracketing, Divide 14 teams into 2,

so there would be 7 games for each bracket.

Bracket A (7 teams)

Formula for Round Robin Type of Tournament is N(N-1)/2 = will be the total number of

players/teams and 1 and 2 are constant Value.

Therefore, there are 21 games in the Bracket A. (Note: see the Diagramming and Plotting

below).

Bracket B (7 Teams)

Formula for Round Robin Type of Tournament is N(N-1)/2 = will be the total number of

players/teams and 1 and 2 are constant Value.

Therefore, there are 21 games in the Bracket B.

(Note: see the Diagramming and Plotting below).

Plotting and Diagramming

Please consider this technique of knowing in the advance the number of rounds to be plotted.

Take the total number of games which is 21 per bracket and divide by 3 which is the number of

pairs, the answer is 7. The value 7 is the number of rounds per bracket. Round are boxes in

which pairs or matches are placed inside.

Every bracket, since there are 7 rounds, it is understood that you will plot 7 boxes.
