Answer :

I chose topic B, “The principles of Laissez-Faire are not valid anymore in this present time. Regarding the
Laissez-Faire Principle, it is no longer valid today, in my opinion I do not agree with the statement, cause
Laissez-Faire is still relevant today because the market mechanism works to determine the most
efficient allocation of resources.

Price becomes a signal for supply and demand in the market. Changes in supply and demand will
eventually lead to equilibrium, the point at which social benefits reach their maximum. This balance will
not be achieved if the government intervenes or minimal government interference.

Then the Laissez-Faire Principle is still relevant in a country because in its politics the country must be
based on prosperity, there are no restrictions on regulations and government policies will encourage
competition for superior products in the market, markets function efficiently, business becomes better
and wider, technological advances and economic growth as well as providing convenience and freedom
for the people to fight for their own welfare, so that social welfare will be achieved.
