The main reasons leading to the generation gap are culture, age, living environment, and

differences in the psychology and behavior of each generation.

It can be said that the generation gap comes from the differences between members of
nuclear families and gradually expands to the whole society.

Nowadays, teenagers have a demand to express their opinions and build a value system
different from their parents to become independent and create their own identity.

Furthermore, not spending much time caring and sharing is a common cause of creating
invisible gaps between children and parents. When society is increasingly developing,
parents are also busy with making a living, and children also need to spend time studying.

That's why most of the members' time is spent on outside social activities. This causes both
sides to not have much time to care for and share with each other, thereby making the
generation gap even wider.
