5 What is the brain's role in hearing?
The brain's role in hearing is to sort
out and interpret massages. We know
this by the phrase “safely home into
the brain where it gets sorted out and
interpreted,” means that the sound
wave that passes through the ear
made it turn into a massage so the
brain can understand by using the
word “interpretted.”

6 What does the writer mean by 'this diminutive, but busy, corner of the
body'?

The writer shows that although it is small it is the most important part of the
brain. The words “diminutive, but busy, corner of the body,” shos this. We
know this by these two words, “diminutive,” which means small and “busy
corner,” which means important. These two words together express that
although it is small, it perform an important function.
It is best to read the passage at least twice before you attempt
