It is with pride and honor that I greet you, Class of 2024 of SDO 1 Pangasinan, as you celebrate
your success and milestones after a year of striving, learning, and reflecting.

Congratulations for a job well done!

As we lived along life’s realities for the past nine months, we saw you employ grit and resolve in
acquiring the necessary knowledge and competencies that enabled you to persist and succeed in the
learning. Despite the natural challenges that beset our schools during the last weeks, you remain strong
and unfazed, and went on confidently toward achieving your dreams. You conquered all the barriers that
came your way. And that is why you are here – proud, happy, and hopeful. You are like the Filipino
bamboo that bends with every strong wind without breaking, and then bounces back to heights –
stronger and mightier. Such a display of resilience.

Kudos to your teachers who treated along with you! Their patience and commitment to shape
your better version is inspiring and commendable. Collaborating closely with the Administrative Staff,
they provided you the most appropriate environment to make your learning experiences memorable,
hence ensuring a steady rhythm towards your next journey. On the same note, I doff my hat oof to your
School Heads and non-teaching personnel!

More so, all these would not have been possible without your parents/guardians and family
members who sacrificed and persevered with you. They deserve no less than a grand salute for an
equally well-done job.

Our dear Graduates and Completers, your will to win above the challenges shows your victory
amidst the greatest pressures of life’s consequences. May you continue to imbibe the learnings you got
from your teachers and parents as you keep going on and never giving up.

This year’s theme, “Kabataang Pilipino Para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas,”
aptly mirrors how strong and how determined you are in pursuing quality education in a complex and
volatile environment. The determination within you is the power that will make you become a better
version of yourselves. Show the world how MATATAG the Filipino youth is!

Believe that we will be with you as you continue to spread your wings and fearlessly chase the
success you have been dreaming of.
