VI. OBJECTIVES

This Pageant aims to encourage positive qualities in young participants , Pageant

like Barangay Gwapo provide perfect opportunity for the handsome young men of our
Barangay to face one’s fear on speaking in front of people and for them to gain more self-
confidence.

The pageant also wants also to spread awareness about the different issues here in
our barangay through the different questions we prepared and to be answered by the
candidates.

Of the many benefits to participating in a pageant, this are the most relevant for the
candidates;

- Recognition, Personal Development, Communication Skills, Handling stress,

Pressure and Disappointment
VII. RATIONALE

The "Search for Barangay Gwapo Kiabo 2024" is an exciting initiative spearheaded by the
SK Council of Barangay Kiabo, designed to uplift and entertain the residents while fostering
a sense of community pride and camaraderie. This activity aims to bring joy, inspiration,
and unity to the people living in Barangay Kiabo through a lively competition that celebrates
the beauty, confidence, and unique qualities of its residents.

1. Promoting Positive Self-Image: The primary goal of the "Search for Barangay Gwapo
Kiabo 2024" is to promote a positive self-image among the residents. By participating in
this event, individuals are encouraged to embrace their physical appearance, personality,
and talents, fostering a sense of confidence and self-worth.

2. Celebrating Diversity and Inclusivity: Barangay Kiabo is likely a diverse community

with residents from various backgrounds and cultures.

3. Fostering Community Engagement: Through the "Search for Barangay Gwapo Kiabo
2024," community members are encouraged to actively engage with one another, whether
as participants, supporters, or organizers. This fosters a sense of belonging and unity
