SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN RESOLUTION NO. 3 SERIES OF 2024 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL
BUDGET OF SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY KIABO, MALITBOG, BUKIDNON CY 2024, IN THE
AMOUNT OF FOUR HUNDRED FORTY-EIGHT HOUSAND EIGHT -HUNDRED EIGHTY PESOS ONLY
(₱448,880.00).

WHEREAS, section 7 of R.A 10742 or Sangguniang Kabataan Reforms Act of 2015, has reintroduced the participation of the
youth sector in the Barangay Government;

WHEREAS, Chapter II, Section 8 (b) of R.A 10742, needs for the Sangguniang Kabataan to prepare and approve the Annual
Budget;

WHEREAS, section 20 (b) of thew said Republic states that the Sangguniang Kabataan shall have financial independence in
its operation, disbursement and encashment of their fund, income and expenditures;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kiabo has PHP. 448,880.00 of the Barangay SK 10% fund;

WHEREAS, section 20 (c) of the said Republic Act shall give to programs, project and activities that will promote and ensure
the equitable access to quality education, environmental protection, climate change adaption, disaster risk reduction resiliency,
youth empowerment and livelihood, health and anti-drug abuse, gender sensitivity, sports development and capability building
which emphasizes leadership training;

NOW, THEREFORE on motion of SK Member Arem D. Habanon, seconded by all Members present other SK member the
body has;

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVE BY THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY KIABO to

approve its Annual Budget CY 2024;

 RESOLVED, FURTHER that a copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Sangguniang Barangay, Sangguniang Bayan
and to order concerned offices for their information and guidance.
