Introduction (3-5 Minutes)
1. Sing Once I Caught A Fish Alive song.
2. Tell the story of The 3 Little Pigs to
the class.
Main Activities (30 – 45 Minutes)
1. Review the numbers 1 and 2.
2. Introduce the number 3 to the children.
Let them write number 3 in the air
using their finger.
3. Teach them how to count 3 pigs using
the stick puppets.
4. Do the worksheet.
Closure:
Counting 1 – 10 song.

3. Call a few children out to the front and
let them count aloud using ice – cream
sticks.
4. Do the worksheet.

Lacing with Leaves Tree Pose

Activity :
- Warm Up (5 Minutes)
1. Warm up stretching (arms, fingers, and
wrists).
- Main Activities (20 – 23 Minutes)
1. Divide into 2 groups.
2. Demonstrate the lacing technique to
children distribute the pre-punched holes
leaves to children.
3. Distribute wool strings to children.
4. Each child has to complete at least one
laced leaf.
Note :
- Teachers may play soft music while
children work on this activity.
Cool Down Activities (3 Minutes)
Stretching (Arm/ Hands / Fingers).
Materials :
 Music player
 Containers
 Pre-punched holes leaves
 Wool strings
 Hole puncher
1. To develop the sense of balance.
2. To develop the sense of direction –
forward, backward, right side, left side.
Activity :
- Warm Up (5 Minutes)
1. Set up the floor mats in a form of a
circle.
2. Children are to stand on the circle and do
the stretches from head to toes.
- Main Activities (20 – 23 Minutes)
1. Lying down “Fallen Tree” – lie on the side,
then on the back, side and front. Hold
each position for the count of five.
2. Pretend to be a tree.
Tree pose: stand with 2 feet with hands
on the side of the body. Then puts hands
above the head. Sway like a tree in the
breeze/heavy wind/rain/thunder (side to
side movement from slow to fast).
3. Move the body forward and backward.
Cool Down Activities (3 Minutes)
Stretching (Arm/ Hands / Fingers).
Note: Download the sounds of wind, rain,
thunder, breeze tp emphasize this lesson.

ASCENSION OF JESUS CHRIST
Learning Objectives :
1. To know what is leaf.
2. To be aware of the various shapes and
colours of leaves.

Activity :
Introduction (3 - 5 Minutes):
Sing The Leaves on the Tree are Falling Down song
and Head Shoulders Knees and Toes for Trees song.

Main Activities (12 – 55 Minutes)

1. Introduce leaves. Explain to class that during
autumn in some countries, leaves change
colours and fall off the trees. Have the
children mimic a falling leave by standing tall
and move downwards all the way to the
ground.
2. Show the children the green beans that they
have planted.
3. Look at how the seeds have grown in the
plant. Look at the shape and size of the
leaves.
4. Show the picture cards. Bring to class the
different types of leaves.
5. Do the worksheet.
