DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Make daily inspection of the workers whether they are in prescribed safety outfit or not.

 Inspection of Cranes before mobilization for the job at site to confirm that it is safe to work
without any problem.

 Checking for the TUV certificate of the crane, Operator license, and Crane documents before
starting the inspection of the crane.

 Make sure that all the workers are wearing safety equipment at job site such as Safety Belt,
Safety Shoes, Helmet Glass, Eye Goggles, Earplug and Mask.
 Support Company Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and programs, provides technical
and professional proposals and advice to protect company property and personal.

 Put necessary safety precaution before starting any job; Monitor all workers if they are wearing
safety equipment at job site.

 Always keep in touch with all workers to remind safety. Coordinate fire Drill, Drivers Training
and Safety related meetings.

 Checking hot work permit, Confined space entry permit, Elevated work permit, Excavation
permit.

 Attend job progress meeting and ensure that firefighting equipment is in proper working
condition and also adequate checking of electrical power equipment.

 Carry out surprise checks in site to determine effectiveness & adequacy of system for Safety.

 Highlight wrong practices being followed, which are not meeting safety requirements &
recommended corrective actions. Keep records of the same.

 Make necessary work permit whenever required to begin the job.

 Always remember the company’s policy, which is to target zero accident.

 Daily and weekly safety meeting with Project Management.

 Take the action against the violators to stop the safety Violations and minimize the accidents.

 Inspect the quality of the scaffolds and issue the certificate to work.

 Conducting QHSE Training, meeting and “TOOL BOX” talks.

 Put necessary safety precaution before starting any job.

 Before leaving the job site, make sure that all unfinished job such as open pit, overhead and
other must have safety precaution of sign board and safety tape to avoid accident.

 Maintain all safety-related documents such as Weekly and Monthly Inspection Reports.

 Fire Extinguishing Reports, Investigation Reports, Injuries Reports etc.

 Make monthly inspection of moving equipment’s and fire extinguisher, ladder etc.

 Make daily reports regarding safety on the job site and submit to immediate supervisor.

 Make sure that before beginning of any job there is necessary work permit.

 Prepare necessary work permit before starting the job.

 Display the important safety information on the safety board at several places.

 Checking all vehicles (must be in good running condition)

 Always bear in mind all safety guidelines and procedure.

 To ensure all necessary safety precautions are observed in job site.
