LIC's New Endowment Plan is a specialised package insurance product intended to

meet the future financial needs irrespective of the uncertainties of the life.

The plan offers insurance coverage of Rs.15,00,000 and accident death and
disability benefit of Rs. 15,00,000. In case of a permanent disability due to accident,
disability benefit of Rs. 12500 shall be paid per month, till the end of the term or ten
years(whichever is earlier).

The plan also offers a tax benefit of Rs.30,693 per annum on the premium paid. The
maturity/survival benefit shall be taxfree u/s 10(10D) of income tax act.
