A passive voice is a type of a clause or sentence in which the subject of the
sentence receives the action .
Passive Voice : The subject is the receiver of the action

Active Voice : The subject is the doer of the action


Eg : Pasan fed the cat - Active Voice

The cat was fed by Pasan - Passive Voice

the Doer :

When the subject of the active voice is a subject pronoun, the
object of the passive voice becomes an object pronoun.

Eg:
She writes poems – active voice
Poems are written by her – passive voice
