Values cherish a set of established policies and ideals which help us man-
age and control properly our social life. Man is a social animal. Values are
considered from a social point of view. For those actions which alone fulfill
one’s needs at others’ expense or harm social life, be consider to have no
values whatsoever.
Indian society and culture accord a high place to moral values. It is ex-
pected that every individual shall conduct himself right from choldhood in
such a manner that is moraly correct. They are taught what is write or wrong
fro childhood itself. To speak respectfully to the seniors and patiently and
lovingly to the juniors, is one of the many first lessions taught to us. Indian
society doesnot accept at involvement in drinking, smoking and such other
avoidable actions. It is considered contrary to social norms and traditions.
Offcourse in changing time for the addiction of western culture many people
disobey this type of traditional values. These people want to live according to
their own choice of freedom. But strict values often restrict their freedom. So
many people go against the society. Though human civilization reached a very
high stage in regards of knowledge and materialistic point of view but values
are decying. Wealth can not develop human human character but spirituality
can develop the human nature.
