TAKER AT ASTON PASTEUR HOTEL

Background
Background in this era of globalization, We are all required to follow the development of
situations and times, where everything has been modern in everything, especially from the field
of tourism and business management.
Thus we are required to be able to master the knowledge received in the world of education
and be able to apply it in the world of business or work. In applying their knowledge, students
are given the opportunity to do industrial work practices. This fieldwork practice (PKL) is
intended to introduce students to the real world of work so that students are not surprised
after graduating from college with the existence of PKL, students are able to know, adapt, and
analyze what is in the PKL place as an experience to the world.

Purpose of Prakerin
The purpose of holding this job training is as a means to train students in applying their
knowledge
a. as a requirement to take the UJIN Competence and National Examination at school
b. as one of the good input and consideration materials for the hotel and school
c. as a match for writers between theory and practice obtained in school with those in the
world of work.
d. to find out more about the work procedures of a housekeeping

At the time of prakerin (pkl) there was a lot of knowledge that I got to prakerin for 6 ( six) months, I
learned to be an Order Taker, which is in charge of recording guest laundry, besides that I learned to
release the room status Ed (ie an empty room in a dirty state and must be cleaned, right) to Vd (ie a
room that has been cleaned and ready to be sold) and besides that I learned in the fublic in case section
in the lobby which must dusting the area area dusty ones
Aston Pasteur Hotel also provides 215 ( two hundred fiveten) rooms, Kambera Resto, 9 ( nine) meeting
rooms, swimming pool, fitness center, and Kahyangan Lounge which provides an opportunity for guests
to enjoy the beautiful view of Bandung city from the top floor of the hotel.
Conclusions and advice
Hotel is a type of accommodation business that provides lodging services, food and beverages and other
facilities that are commercially managed and open for 24 ( twenty four) hours, in addition to providing
other services to guests. Housekeeping is one part of the hotel regarding things related to beauty,
neatness, cleanliness. The flexibility of all rooms as well as all other common areas so that all guests and
employees can feel safe and comfortable in the hotel.

Advice for industry parties


A. Increase Employees so that Free Obertime does not occur often
b. Keep the relationship between apartments
c. Improve the quality of laundry to make it better
d.multiply chemical
F.Senior should be able to provide good guidance on a regular basis to daily workers and trainees

Advice for schools


a. The school should allow students to focus on carrying out prakerin and reports, without any
assignments from the normative additive
