g Surcharge of 600mm with 30 degree slope at the top and behind the wall

Types and Sizes

g MPI Precast U Drains are available in 2 variants - With & Without Dry Weather Flow (DWF) section
g U Drains are available in the range of Standard sizes ( nominal width 450mm to 1800mm) in length
of 1 meter

Handling, Jointing & Laying

g Weep Holes are provided at the invert wall

g U Drains are manufactured with butt joint. Cement mortar is used to fill the gap
g A steel spreader beam to be used for avoiding any cracking at the eall base joint
g MPI U drains should be laid ona a well compacted sand bedding. In bad ground conditions, it may be
necessary to excavate deeper or lay a hardcore layer before placing the sand bedding
