B: Hello, Mr. William. Welcome to Astorian, Inc. Mr. Smith is in a meeting right now, but he
will be along shortly. Have a seat, please. Can I offer you some refreshments?
A: No, thank you. Can I use the phone, please?
B: Certainly, Sir. Do you need any assistance with the phone?
A: No need, I only need the phone.
B: Certainly, Sir. The phone is over here.
A: Ok, thank you. (on the phone for a few minutes, then hang up the phone.) Thank you for
your assistance
B: My pleasure, Sir. Is there anything else I can help you with while you wait for Mr. Smith?
A: Err… Yes. How far it is to the station?
B: About two miles, Sir. Ten minutes by taxi to get there. Would you like me to call a taxi for
you?
A: That would be a big help! Thank you. I’ll finish my business with Mr. Smith in about an
hour. Can I leave my luggage here in the meantime?
B: Certainly, Sir. I’ll do that. Ah. Mr. Smith is available right now. Allow me to take you to
his office, Sir.
A: Ok, thank you.
2. INTERNAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Student Executive Board (BEM) Candidate

Hello Digitech University friends!!

I am Dinda Aulia Azzahra, a class of 2022 student from the management study program,
enthusiastically announcing my candidacy for a position on the Student Executive Board
(BEM) for the 2024-2025 period.

During my 2 years as a student, I have been actively involved in the Organization and see a lot
of potential to enhance our collective learning experience. I couldn't use my experience and
expertise to bring positive change to our beloved campus.

The BEM vision that I propose is to form BEM Digitech University as a harmonious, innovative
and responsive organization in fighting for the rights and interests of students.
To realize this vision, here are my main missions as a BEM member:
• Improve the quality of student services and advocacy.
• Mention sustainable and environmentally friendly programs.
• Strengthen students' roles and responsibilities in building national character.
• Uphold professionalism and tolerance by prioritizing family aspects.
• Improve the image of BEM Digitech University through the role of social media.
