WMS PTW SIGNATORY AUTHORIZING LIMIT & PROACTIVE ACTION REQUIRED FOR ADEQUATE
SIGNATORIES & IMPLIMENTATION

Dear Mr. Mohamed,


With reference to the above-mentioned subject, and in line with the HSE Standard (HSE-OS-ST-02), Clause
7.1.8 & adherence to the Corporate HSE Guidelines i.e. Company GCPES below table clarify the PTW limit for
the signatory roles in WMS. The same shall be stringently implemented and consistently maintained in the
project premises throughout the project cycle.

* Note: -
 This will be applicable if the work area is limited to 2500 M2 or building 2 adjacent levels.
 The Area Authority (AA) shall review the current number of Permits with respect to the PTW limits,
prior to accepting new permits.
 If Area Authority requires JP & PA presence at site due to criticality of the task, then number of permits
limited to one only. PA shall sign the Toolbox Talk (TBT) form as a formal record of his presence.
 Area Authority shall refer to ‘PTW Monitoring Sheet’ for more guidance.
Additionally, Contactor shall ensure adequate certified JP & PA shall be attained onboard fulfilling their
assessment by GCPES team and further ensure signatory appointment form for each JP & PA shall be complied

before deputation at site. JP & PA shall be from the principal Contractor and the activities represented by
them in the WMS PTW at work site shall be adherence to their area of proficiency.
Moreover, considering the remote offshore work premises and multiple requirements to be fulfilled for each
individual before mobilization at site, the backup arrangements shall be ensured for the JP & PA working at
the site as in case of an emergency to replace them.
The Contractor shall consider this as an early notification from the Company, for your proactive preventive
action to avoid any nonconformance related to WMS PTW system and further work hindrance.

Reiterating: Zero tolerance on WMS PTW.
