Yarn, finished size and gauge ABBREVIATIONS
This sample was made with YarnArt Jeans (semi-cotton yarn): A - beige color
beige #07, yellow #88, green #69; Alize Cotton Gold (semi-cotton B - white color
yarn): white #55, mustard#02. Finished size: 9" (22 cm) tall C - mustard color
Because this is a pattern for a stuffed toy, gauge is not really D - yellow color
important. You can use any weight yarn, if you make sure that E - green color
your hook is appropriately sized for your yarn, so that you get a ch - chain
nice, solid fabric. Using a different size hook and yarn weight will sc - single crochet
change the size of your finished project. inc - increase (2 sc in indicated stitch)
Make sure you crochet pretty tight all the way, to get no slst - slip stitch
stretching holes between the stiches after you filled in a stuffing hdc - half double crochet
material. dc - double crochet

Back Post Single Crochet (bpsc)

1 Insert your hook from back to front between the posts of the first and second crochet in the row below. The hook
should now be positioned horizontally in front of the crochet that you’re working around. (image 0.1, 0.2)

2 Yarn over and draw the yarn around the post of the stitch. You now have 2 loops on the hook. (image 0.3)

3 Yarn over and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook. You’ve made one complete back post single crochet

Puff Stitch (ps4)
1 Yarn over the hook (image 0.5) and insert the hook into the next stitch, grab
the strand of yarn, and draw the yarn through the stitch. Bring the loop up to
match the same height as the previous stitch. There should be now 3 loops on
your hook. (image 0.6)

2 Yarn over the hook and insert the hook into the same stitch, grab the strand
of yarn, and draw the yarn through the stitch. Bring the loop up to match the
same height as the previous loop. Repeat this step two more times. There
should be now 9 loops on your hook. (image 0.7)

3 Yarn over the hook, and pull the yarn through all 9 loops on your hook. The Image 0.5

1 Yarn over the hook (image 0.10) and insert the hook into the next stitch,
grab the strand of yarn, and draw the yarn through the stitch. Yarn over

2 Repeat previous step 2 more times in the same stitch. There should be now
