ARTS APPRECIATION

1. How do you describe art as a cultural document?

- I believe art has many stories to tell, one of that is the cultural varieties we
have in the world. Art helps us to document different cultures we have. With this, we
are able to not only showcase our God-given talents but also to show the world our
unique identity as one native. That with this art we can show that this is who we are
and what we are.

2. In your opinion, what are the purposes of art during ancient time in Europe?
- During the ancient times, there are many arts emerged in different art styles
and techniques which can still be seen today. During the ancient Europe, their art style
was their way of sharing their ancient life during that time. These styles have inspired
the present and future artists where they modernized this arts and continue to evolve
until today.

3. What makes Filipino’s arts differs from other arts in the world?
- Having a diverse nation, creates a diverse art works. Every piece of art in
every part of the world is different. But I think that what makes a Filipino art different
is the mind of every Filipino. Every Filipino artist represents the culture, tradition,
beliefs, and the story of the Philippines that we should be proud of as a Filipino. They
are the key to introduce the Philippines to the world where every nation can witness
how wonderful is the Philippines.

4. If you are a Filipino artist, what kind of arts you would like to develop? Why?
- If I were a Filipino artist, I would like to develop Performing Arts in Music. I
grew up fond of music. Listening and singing along with a song makes my heart
happy. I listen to English music but I think what makes Filipino music special is that
you feel more connected to it and every word fits perfectly with the tune. I want to
develop my skills in this field because I want to share my experiences and inspire
others through my own music. I want to write songs where I can use our beautiful
language and create a connection to every listeners where they are able to relate to my
music.
