TASK 1 Factors of 825

You already know that some of the factors are 1, 825, 25, 33, 3, 5 and 11.

Using pairs of prime factors Using three prime factors

3 × 5 = 15 3 × 5 × 5 = 75

3 × 11 = 33 3 × 5 × 11 = 165

5 × 5 = 25 5 × 5 × 11 = 275

5 × 11 = 55

In this example there are only four prime factors. Multiplying all of the prime factors will give you the
original number.
