the most cost- effective nutrition interventions
in the prevention and control of micronutrient
deficiency diseases. As food fortification
programs expand, there will be increasing need
to evaluate its contribution to the alleviation of
micronutrient deficiencies and monitor the
quality of the fortified foods.
While considerable progress in food fortification
has been achieved, this webinar will address the
issues and challenges, lessons learned, and
recent developments with respect to this
intervention program in the country.
