Remember Kids St is for students who are attending 5th grade with no or very little knowledge of
English

o TODAY STARTER U. 1 to 8 (Students’ Book & Activity Book)

o THE SKATEBOARDER (Quick Starter Dominoes – OUP)

We strongly recommend you deal with the units in the following order: 1, 2,
3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 6. In this way, students will have seen Present Simple before
they start with the new reader The Skateboarder.

OPTIONAL: Magazine, Culture Today and Story Corner sections.

Songs and Raps

Students’ Book: all the units have a very useful revision section. Even-numbered units include
a Communication section which includes speaking and writing activities. The book includes 2
CDs, which should always be used.

Note: We don’t use the book with access to MyEnglishLab but you are free to use it.

Writing: There are plenty of writing activities both in the Students’ and the Activity book.

Activity Book: for every section of the Students’ book there are exercises with three levels of
difficulty. You can select which to give your students according to their needs.

For further grammar practice we recommend Grammar Friends 1 by Tim Ward and
Round Up 1 by Virginia Evans.

Teacher’s Book: We strongly recommend the use of the Teacher's Book, which will guide you
throughout the course. It contains the course contents, step-by-step teaching notes for every
lesson in the book together with all the student’s book pages minimized, Activity Book answer
key and audio scripts. There is a DVD at the back of the book with all the videos included in the
course. They are really very useful.

Reader: We suggest you start reading THE SKATEBOARDER after having seen Unit 7 and while
you are dealing with Unit 8.
