PREAMBLE: We, the members of the Pasacao Central School English Club, dedicated
to enhancing our language skills, fostering a love for literature, and promoting cultural
appreciation, establish this club to create a vibrant and inclusive community of English
enthusiasts. We pledge to uphold the values of respect, cooperation, and open-
mindedness, and to actively contribute to the club's success and growth.
Article I: NAME
Section 1: The name of this organization shall be the English Club, hereinafter referred
to as the club.
The objective of the English Club is to provide students with a platform to enhance their
English language proficiency cultivate a passion for reading, and advance cultural
awareness.
a. To foster a love for the English language and literature among students.
b. To improve members' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
c. Develop public speaking skills and confidence in communication.
d. Provide a supportive environment for students to practice and enhance their
English skills.
e. To foster teamwork and collaboration.
Section 1: Membership in the English Club shall be open to all Grade 3 to Grade 6
students of
Section 2: Membership shall abide by rules and regulations set forth in this Constitution
and By-Laws.
Section 3: Membership shall not be denied on the basis of race, color, religion, gender,
sexual orientation, national origin or disability.
Section 4: Once a student becomes a member, they are expected to participate in club
meetings, events, and activities regularly to make the most of their membership.
Section 1: The officers of the Club shall consist of a President, Vice President,
Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, P.I.O, Sgt. At Arms, Bus. Mngr., Muse and Escort.
Section 2: Officers shall be elected by a majority vote of the members present at the
annual general meeting.
Article V: FINANCES
Section 1: The club shall maintain a separate account for its funds.
Section 2: The treasurer shall keep accurate records of all financial transactions and
present a report at each meeting.
Section 3: The Club’s funds shall be used solely for the purposes outlined in the Article
II.
Section 4: Fundraising activities may be organized to support club activities and events.
2. The proposed amendment must be communicated to every member at least five days
prior to the meeting.
Section 1: The president shall lead meetings, oversees club activities, and represents
the club in school events.
Section 2: The Vice President shall assist the president and assume the duties of the
President in their absence.
Section 3: The Secretary shall keep records or minutes of all meetings, maintain
records of membership, and handle correspondence.
Section 4: The treasurer shall be responsible for collecting dues, keeping financial
records, and preparing financial reports.
Section 5: Public Relations Officer: Promotes the club and its activities within the school
and community.
Section 6: additional officers and their duties may be established by the membership as
deemed necessary.
Section 1: The club may establish committees as necessary to carry out specific tasks
or organize events.
Section 2: Committee members shall be appointed by the President with the approval of
the officers
There shall be no membership dues for the Elementary School English Club.
