3. Project description (what is the issues current situation, the proposed solutions,
how to implement, how to use, to whom)

The traditional tuition system is often inefficient and inflexible due to physical
resources and manual scheduling which hinders communication between tutors,
students, and parents. The One-Size-Fits-All approach tends to follow a standardized
curriculum without addressing the diverse learning styles and needs of individual
students. Moreover, students in remote areas lack access to quality tutoring services
due to the high cost, transportation issues and geographical limitations. Furthermore,
the lack of transparency regarding tutor qualifications and progress tracking is
concerning for parents. UTutor provides solutions to the issues mentioned by
implementing an online platform where tutors, students, and parents can connect,
schedule sessions, and track progress in real-time. The tutoring programs are
tailored to match each student's unique learning capability and preferences. For
those in rural areas, financial help is provided, and they can have access to digital
resources such as e-books, videos, and interactive learning materials easily. A
feedback mechanism is established so that students and parents can provide input
on the tutoring sessions and their overall experience. Moreover, a list of qualified
tutors with verified credentials and reviews can be accessed by parents to ensure
transparency and quality. UTutor platform functions as a virtual classroom, facilitating
student-teacher interactions. It begins by outlining functionalities, designing the
system, and developing various components like enrollment websites and teaching
tools. Additionally, it integrates features for parent monitoring, providing a dashboard
for tracking student progress and enabling parent-tutor communication. The system
identifies eligible students based on criteria such as financial need, determines
discounts or subsidies, and applies them automatically during enrollment. Through
thorough testing and user feedback, the system ensures security, usability, and
fairness for all users. Lastly, using the system is easy. Students log in, choose a
course, and join sessions with tutors using features like video calls and messaging.
Parents can monitor their child's progress by logging in and checking attendance,
grades, and assignments. If eligible, discounts are automatically applied when
students enroll. The system is user-friendly for everyone involved.
