Battery chemistry and
architecture
• LiFePO4 (Lithium-Iron Phosphate)
• The Positive electrode descends down into the
battery with a Aluminum Foil rod into a nexus of
Phosphate and Iron with a Polymer Membrane on
the bottom. The Negative Electrode ascends up
into the battery with a Copper Foil rod into a nexus
of Carbon (graphite) and Electrolytes with a lithium
separator down the midline.
• Safety features/aspects
I. Strong safety profile due to chemistry, the
charged and uncharged rods are physically
similar and highly robust.
a) Robustness allows ions to remain stable in
flux.
a) Incombustible and will not combust when
punctured.
I. Is able to handle variable conditions (cold & hot)
without terrible issues.
