JOB SUMMARY:
Provide technical knowledge and the ability to test, repair and maintain medical devices.
Equipment includes electronic test equipment and various types of medical equipment. Testing
Will be done in our facility and will involve staff interaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Prepare CBAHI (Central Board of Accreditation of Healthcare Institution documents (e.g.
medical equipment Management plan, utilities management plan, engineering
controls/forms)
 Maintaining biomedical equipment (establishing, adjusting, calibrating, testing)
 Conducting tests; ensuring compliance to codes; following manufacturer’s instructions;
 trouble-shooting and repairing; calling for special service; maintaining equipment
 inventories; completing test records; equipment sterilization
 Adjusting; calibrating; testing and documenting equipment performance
 Writing, reviewing and executing test procedures; documenting test results (records)
 Maintains biomedical equipment supplies inventory; anticipating needs; managing orders

 Validate and test end-to-end service provisioning for the cable network.
 Confirm accurate cable terminations on cross connect, patch panels, hubs and routers.
 Review site surveys, condition discrepancy reports, design drawings, technical manuals for cable
installation feasibility.
 Understand construction prints and splice schematics.
 Maintain project tracing information such as production sheets, time sheets, and customer required
paperwork.
 Maintain safe and secure work environment by complying with Government standards and legal
regulations.
 Manage pole climbing, working at heights, handling ladders, and pushing, pulling and bending
equipment.
 Work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.
