Conducting research for a

changing society: This is what

drives us at Forschungs-
zentrum Jülich. As a member of
the Helmholtz Association, we
aim to tackle the grand societal
challenges of our time and
conduct research into the
possibilities of a digitized

The Institute for Energy and Climate Research 5 – Photovoltaics (IEK-5) performs
research on various aspects of photovoltaic materials and devices, including the
emerging class of perovskite solar cells. Perovskite solar cells are a promising solar
cell technology that enables printable, flexible and lightweight solar cells. To better
understand and quantify efficiency losses, researchers use a variety of
characterization methods that include various types of spectroscopy methods. Within
this project, we will specifically studied the transient photoluminescence method and
try to improve data analysis of photoluminescence transients on perovskite layers,
layer stacks and complete devices using machine learning techniques. Our approach The job will be advertised until
