Due to technical barriers, traditional elevators are worse in comfort, efficiency, self-diagnosis of
faults, remote monitoring, other intelligent functions, debugging and ease of maintenance.
By adopting the TIA control technology, Siemens elevators realize seamless programming,
communication and data transmission. As a result, the whole system becomes simpler and very
safe, stable and reliable, with fewer fault points and ease of maintenance.
Siemens Technology.
The elevator will not start its operation unless every door is closed properly.
Siemens has a surplus-value concept that any of its components and parts should have a designed
service life two times that of common international standards. For instance, a switch is allowed to
have a fault after being used for 1.2 million times, whereas Siemens' internal standard is 2.4 million
times. The key components of Siemens elevators are imported originals which guarantee reliable
and stable operation of the elevators. Users are guaranteed with lower costs.
Siemens elevators feature solid cars with 1.8mm double-layer thickened steel plates, able to remain
their shapes under extrusion and protect passenger safety without causing any abnormal noise and
hidden danger to the elevators.
History: The world's first elevator was manufactured by Siemens
In 1880, Siemens' founder Mr. Werner Von Siemens hosted the installation of the world's first
power-driven elevator in the 20-meter-high sightseeing tower for Hemem Industrial Fair. The
elevator operates at a speed of 50cm per second, transporting 8,000 passengers per month for the
Fair without causing any accident. Page: 5 0f 7
