⼀、Executive Summary(执⾏摘要)
执⾏摘要通常作为汇报内容的第⼀部分,总结报告⾥的中⼼思想、结论和建议。
该部分没有特定的写作规则,⽂⻛简洁易懂即可。

What is an “executive summary”?

“An executive summary provides an overview(概述)of a larger document


or research and is usually the first thing your reader will see. Oftentimes,
executive summaries are the only place decision makers will go to determine
if action is warranted(需要)on a particular action or idea. Executive
summaries will analyze a problem(分析问题), draw conclusions(下结
论), and recommend a course of action in a complete but

可从市场环境、竞争对⼿、市场份额以及外部反馈等维度进⾏⼤盘总结。语⾔尽量客观中⽴、实事求是,但最好
以⽐较乐观的语⽓收尾。

市场环境 (Market/Industry)

It's no news that global exports have been looking dim(暗淡)this year, but we have managed to cut
our losses(减轻损失)and even reinvent ourselves(重塑⾃⼰的业务)the past year to set ourselves
up for(为…打下基础)a speedy recovery.

众所周知,今年全球出⼝表现惨淡,但我们成功减轻损失,甚⾄在过去⼀年重塑了⾃⼰的业务,帮助我们

1. Why does this BU (business unit)/company exist?

2. What are your short-term objective?

3. What is your long-term goal?

As we all know, our mission is to provide first-class(⼀流的)hospitality(服务业)


services for customers. As hoteliers / həʊˈteliə(r)/(酒店⾏业从业者), we aspire to(我
们追求)make every customer feel at home during their stay with us(⼊住期间), and
overtime, become the most recognized hospitality provider(“酒店”⽐较正式的说法)in
our city.

我们知道,公司的使命是为客户提供⼀流的专业服务。作为酒店⾏业从业者,我们致⼒于让
每位顾客在⼊住期间,如同在⾃⼰家⼀样舒适,久⽽久之成为我们城市⾥最受认可的酒店。
四、Financial Position(财务状况)
汇报中常⻅的财务信息包括如下,通常以图表charts/graphs(图表)或者
tables/spreadsheets(表格)的形式呈现:

五、Highlights/Lowlights(亮点/不⾜)
分析这段时间的亮点与不⾜之处。尤其针对“不⾜”部分,可强调如何减少了⻛险,吸取了哪些教训。

Highlights(亮点)

What we did right was adopt an aggressive growth strategy at the outset(最⼀开始), despite knowing
the risks involved. This allowed us to grasp(抓住)a window of opportunity in this new vertical(垂类)
and consolidate(巩固)our market footing.

我们做的对的⼀点,就是从⼀开始就采取了激进的增⻓策略,即便有已知⻛险。这让我们抓住了这个垂类的
窗⼝期并在市场上站住了脚。

Lowlights(不⾜)

Admittedly(必须承认), we were not able to avoid some of the pitfalls(陷阱、坑)that many of our

optimistic in a bad market.

To carry forward the current momentum(保持动⼒), we should keep our


strategy as is(保持)for the time being.

We should let go of(放弃)our existing approach and reinvent(重新塑造).

We can keep up the current strategy, but will need to adapt it to new market
circumstances.
表达趋势和数据分析的常⽤说法(名词)
趋势:trend, trajectory(maintain a strong growth trajectory 增⻓趋势强劲)

增⻓率:growth rate

同⽐:YoY vs 环⽐:MoM(a year-on-year/month-on-month growth rate of)

Q代表“季度”(Q1, Q2);H代“每半年”(H1 = 1~6⽉;H2 = 7~12⽉)

历史新⾼/新低:a record high/low

也可以说unprecedented(前置形容词)或者never seen before(后置定语)(E.g. Unprecedented growth/Growth never seen before)

⽬标:goal, objective, target(objective更偏向策略性的⽬标,goal/target更靠近数字,不过区分不严格)

⻓期⽬标:long-term goal/objective

中期⽬标:mid-term goal/objective

短期⽬标:target, short-term/immediate goal/objective

达成结果:outcome

达成率:completion rate/achievement rate

数字:number, figure

⽐例:proportion

区分proportion和ratio:前者是往往是百分⽐,⽐如50%, half, one-third等;后者是X:X的⽐例,⽐如1:5(读法是"one to five")

上升

⼀般“上升”: increase, grow, rise, register an upward trend(呈上升趋势)

急速“上升”:surge, skyrocket, spike

翻倍

翻两倍:double

翻三倍:triple

翻四倍:quadruple

四倍以上:grow by X times

下降

⼀般“下降”:decrease, decline, drop, fall, dwindle, diminish, register a downward trend

急速“下降”:plummet, nosedive, plunge, slump

保持不变

⼀直保持“平稳”:remain consistent/constant/steady/static/unchanged

增⻓后趋于“平稳”:flatten out, plateau, level off
