SEMI-DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION GRADE 1

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the student should be able to:
 Identify and describe the differences between slow and fast movements, heavy and light
objects, and free and bound movements.
 Appreciate the importance of adapting movement qualities in various physical activities.
 Demonstrate the ability to perform slow and fast movements, handle heavy and light
objects, and execute free and bound movements with control and coordination.

Ask the students about the discussion yesterday.
A. Motivation
1. Show different pictures of different recreational games.
2. Show pictures of children playing in the park.
3. Ask the learners how the Children in the picture works.
B. Lesson Proper
1. Discuss the difference between fast and slow, heavy and light, free and bound
Movements.
2. Group the students into 3 groups. Each group will be given different pictures pasted in
A chart and let them discuss in a group whether the activity in the picture is fast or
Slow, heavy or light, free or bound movement.
3. Ask the student to paste their work in the board and let them act as the presentation
Of their answer.

C. Evaluation
1. Give the students an answer sheet to answer. In the answer sheet, let them identify
Whether the action or activity in the picture is fast or slow, heavy or light, free or
Bound movement.
2. Check their work by showing the answers in the power point presentation.
D. Valuing
Ask the students why do we need to learn the qualities of efforts?
IV.ASSIGNMENT
Let the students make a list of activities they do in their home and write it in the
Appropriate Column.
