Testing Fees

This brochure lists the testing services available at PTRI, the only government
textile testing laboratory.
These Testing Fees for Textiles, Garments and Allied Products are based on
Section 54, Chapter 12, Book IV of Executive Order No. 292 (Administrative
Code of 1987); Executive Order No. 197 signed January 13, 2000; and DOST
Administrative Order No. 010 Series of 2000.
The PTRI Physical and Chemical laboratories are equipped with instruments
for the determination of the quality levels of fibers, slivers, rovings, yarns,
fabrics, garments, carpets and allied products including chemicals, dyes and
auxiliaries used for textile production.
Tests are performed in accordance with PNS/PTRI ISO, AATCC, ASTM, IWS,
JIS Standards, etc. Test methods supplied/specified by customers are also
considered.
Testing fees are to be paid in full upon submission of test request. Students
are given 20% discount of the published rates.
Additional original copies of reports may be issued only upon written request
from customer
