I left Afghanistan for four main and basic reasons that I had and felt that my life and

my family might be
in danger in Afghanistan.

1. My first reason is that I am Hazara, and unfortunately, Hazaras have been killed in Afghanistan for a
long time for different reasons. Especially during the Taliban regime, suicide attacks have increased in
Hazara areas and we see more mysterious murders in social media.

Under the pretext of hijab, they take Hazara girls with them and torture them and even rape them.
Unfortunately, all of these are happening to Hazara people, these are the signs of genocide. I request
the international community and especially the United States of America to put pressure on Taliban
regime in order to force them to stop the genocide of Hazaras and allow t girls to go to school.

2. My second reason is that I worked as a financial officer in Marafet Civil Capacity Development
Institute, and I was also a member of the executive boards in executive plans and decision-making.
Marafet Institute had several departments including: Marafet School, Marafet Radio, SA TV, SA Music
Department and Marafet Magazine. All of them included executive programs of the institute and mostly
worked in field of democracy and women's fundamental rights. The project that Marafet Institute took
from Net Institute was implemented in the SA TV program section and we were mostly active in the
democracy and women's fundamental rights and education sectors.

The Sa group, all of whom were Marafet girls, performed many programs in the form of songs, you can
see all the activities of this group on SA YouTube. Marefat school was attacked in 1384 and they wanted
to burn Marefat school. During the seven years that I worked in Marefat, we were always threatened by
ISIS. We made a lot of efforts for the security of knowledge and hired more security personnel and these
are all the reasons why I felt that one day I would be persecuted by this regime and I always felt in
danger and all my peace was taken away from me.

3.The main reason why I felt in danger was that my wife Zahra was a police officer in the Ministry of
Interior and had served there for a long time. Unfortunately, after the Taliban came, we could not leave
Kabul and my wife was always at home. She lost her job and was always afraid that she might be
prosecuted and jailed for her duty. When my wife lost her peace and locked herself in the house, it was
painful for me and always bothered me.

4. My fourth reason is that I have two children and I try for their future so that they have a good and
bright future. My daughter is four years old and after two years she will start school. When girls in
Afghanistan were deprived of their right to education and they cannot study and make their future, it
forced me to leave Afghanistan for the reason of my childrens' future. I want to use the chance I had in
P2 program and be able to do at least something to bring peace for my family and a better future for my
children.
