UNIVERSITY:

1. Why did you select UET OR what attracted you to this university for your graduate studies?

I chose UET because it was my father's dream. Inspired by this, I set my goal on getting admission
and worked hard to achieve that goal.

2. How was your undergraduate degree at UET?

My undergraduate degree was amazing, not so much in terms of academics, but in terms of having
fun with friends. Besides academics, I had opportunities to enhance my skills, especially through
different societies specially UMS and IEEE, where I learned graphics designing, management skills,
confidence, and much more. My experience in sports was also amazing as I practiced and learned
badminton. I teamed up with my badminton doubles partner, Farah Khalid, and we proved to be the
best players, winning several awards. Overall, my undergraduate degree was incredibly memorable.

3. How were your initial days at campus?

My initial days were somewhat hectic because I wasn't used to walking as much as I had to in
university, and walking to the hostel was tiresome. However, the best thing about my initial days
was the people I met. I met Bushra on the very first day, and we became friends instantly, exploring
the whole university together. Everyone thought we had known each other for years. Then I met
Anisha, Maania, Farah, and finally Noman, who became the best part of my university life. Our
group, named “Crazy Engineers,” remained the best and most loyal throughout the four years.
Alhamdulillah for this.

4. Your memories during hostel life?

Hostel life was the best. Despite some issues, I loved it because of my friends. We were not just
friends at the hostel; we were a family . Our bond was so strong that we wouldn't eat dinner
without each other; we waited and ate together. Bringing food from home and sometimes cooking
at the hostel was an amazing experience. The balcony area, where we used to sit at night, share
stories, and gossip, holds the most memorable and emotional vibes for me.

5. What was the moment when you feel depressed?

I felt depressed whenever I had a fight with Bushra Rabab, or Noman Khalid. I also felt down during
my Smart Grids exam because I hadn't studied anything during the previous four holidays and
wasted them successfully .

6. What do you think about tours?

I always wanted to go on a tour, but my friends never got permission, so my dream remained just a
dream.

7. Which type of Bond do you have with your seniors and junior?

The bond with our senior Fatima api from 17 was bestest and the best bond was with zoha api and
saira api from bme 19. If I talk about stong bond then that was with my junior Ayesha shamim and
respectable and loving bond was with beautiful juniors (Rabda, Eman, Farheen ,Muskan, Amna ,Iqra,
Zumr, Eshwa , Arzoo, Ayesha shaukat, malaika, wareesha).

8. What was your best season at Narowal?

Winter season

9. What was the worst thing and best thing you ate in Narowal?

The best thing I ate in Narowal was Pasta from Mr.Pizza Sahara branch, and the worst thing I ate was
chicken malai boti from zfc.

10. Who is your favorite personality in campus?

Sir Abdullah Saleem was my favourite personality.

11. What was the funniest or most memorable incident that you experienced with your friends or
university staff during your university days?

The funniest moment was when I was in the lab working on my final year project, and my supervisor
came in and put his phone on the table. I wanted to show something to my supervisor from my
phone and mistakenly thought the phone on the table was mine. I picked it up and tried to unlock it,
while my supervisor was watching me. When I realized my mistake, I was so embarrassed that I
laughed at myself and quickly put down the phone, saying, "Sorry sir, that’s your phone."

12. If you were stranded on a deserted Island which one personality you want to stand with
yourself?

I wanted to have Bushra Rabab and Noman Khalid with me.

13. How was your last year in university?

Full of tragedies, with a lot of learning and getting to know about people.

14. What advice would you like to give to your juniors?

Every person in university can’t be your friend so choose wisely and find best and loyal people
around you and don’t trust anyone blindly.
