**Introduction:**
On April 17, 2024, a collaborative
environmental event, including a
clean-up drive and tree caring
activity, was conducted from the
Tree Park to Impasugong
National High School campus.
This event was initiated by the
Youth for Environment in Schools
Organization (YES-O) and
actively participated in by the
SSLG, BKD, Child-Friendly
Organization, and Girl Scouts.
The main objectives were to
enhance environmental
awareness, promote sustainable
practices, and improve the
community's green spaces.

**Preparation:**
Preparations began days ahead
of the event. The YES-O
organized planning meetings,
coordinated with the other
participating organizations, and
arranged the necessary
materials, such as trash bags,
and gloves.

**Event Execution:**
The event commenced at 6:00
AM at the Tree Park, where
participants gathered for a brief
opening ceremony. Mr. Paulo J.
Omay , an adviser of
Impasugong National High
School, delivered a short
statement , highlighting the
importance of community
involvement in environmental
conservation.

1. **Clean-Up Drive:**
- **Activities:** Participants
were divided into groups and
assigned specific sections along
the route from Tree Park to the
school campus. The clean-up
drive involved picking up litter,
, and properly disposing of
waste.
Particular attention was given to
separating recyclable materials
from non-recyclables.

2. **Tree Caring Activity:**


- **Activities:** Upon reaching
the tree park, the focus shifted to
tree caring activities. This
included watering existing trees,
mulching around the base of
trees, .

**Participation:**
The event saw enthusiastic
participation from students,
teachers, and community
members. The collaboration
among the various organizations
ensured a well-coordinated and
effective effort. The teamwork
and collective spirit
demonstrated by the participants
were commendable, reflecting
their commitment to
environmental stewardship.
**Conclusion:**
The clean-up drive and tree
caring activity concluded at 9:00
AM with a noticeable
improvement in the cleanliness
and greenery from Tree Park to
the school campus. The event
successfully fostered a sense of
community and environmental
responsibility among the
participants. The positive impact
on the local environment was
evident, contributing to a more
beautiful and sustainable
community space.

**Recommendations:**
To maintain the momentum and
impact of this initiative, it is
recommended that similar
activities be organized regularly.
Integrating environmental
education into the school
curriculum could further enhance
students’ knowledge and
commitment to environmental
conservation.
