FREEDOM ENCOUNTERS

POST FREEDOM ENCOUNTER

Post counseling and freedom encounters involve moving

anyone from crisis to recovery to freedom to live. Our goal is
not to keep anyone in recovery and counseling but to move all
the injured from recovery to ability to live for Christ. We move
them to a dynamic discipleship to take up the cross and serve
the Lord Jesus Christ

1. The application of sanctification/discipleship

A. New birth assumes divine development / Romans 8

B. Salvation is powerful and the ultimate transformation

Freedom
New nature
All the promises

Purpose
Victory over the world/flesh/devil

As the new life of Christ and His Spirit reside in the human
spirit, the work of God moves from there to the totality of the
soul/personality. The mind and will are now free and
empowered to move in the ‘pre designed’ plan of God. As we
received Christ in our heart a work began that is meant
(designed) to progress.

2. The application of redemption in the SRA/MPD

A. Freedom of course………undoing what the devil did

RESPONSIBLITY AND CO-OPERATION

No one receiving ministry from the Lord Jesus is to be passive.

There is no place for spiritual spectatorship. Each person must
respond to God’s operative grace and power. There is a call to
faith and obedience even to the most damaged and hurting
victims.

1. Sanctification is a part of redemption

A. It has all the power that salvation provides

B. Sanctification has divine design

C. Sanctification is never passive / we must co-operate

Principle:

We receive all God’s grace/love/power by faith

We manifest all God’s grace/love/power in obedience

2. We are all called to respond
