Weight, height and BMI – quickly determined
and reliably documented
For diagnosing the nutritional condition of
a patient, the ratio of weight to height is
evaluated. Ideal for determining this data
quickly and simply is the seca 764/763 with
integrated printer – both the weight and
height of the patient can be measured elec-
tronically. The values are directly docu-
mented in writing with the aid of the thermal
printer. Due to its manifold properties, the
seca 764/763 is especially suitable for de-
manding use not only in general and inter-
nal medicine but also in diabetology,
endocrinology and nephrology.

The combination of scale and measuring rod
makes it possible to determine the nutri-
tional condition in just one time-saving step.
At the touch of a button, the seca 764/763
determines the Body Mass Index (BMI) on
the basis of the height and weight of the
patient.
Reliable documentation of the results
with the integrated thermal printer
The integrated printer is activated auto-
matically when the patient steps on the
scale. After determining the weight, height
and BMI, the results are simply printed out.
If the measuring station is equipped with a
time module, the time and date also appear
on the 58 mm wide printout. This reliable
documentation not only facilitates the han-
dling of data but also ensures that error
sources are in future ruled out – e.g. wrong
information from patients when not accom-
panied during weighing.

Extra high capacity and low-level
platform
With a capacity of 250 kg/350 lbs and a
robust, cast-iron base, the seca 764/763 is
also ideal for heavyweight patients. An ad-
ditional benefit is the large but low-level
platform. The ribbed rubber mat gives the
patient a secure footing.
Mobile with transport castors
In spite of its sturdy construction, the dig-
ital weighing and measuring station is mo-
bile: integrated castors make transport
easy. Its adjustable levelling feet ensure
that the scale stands securely even if the
surface should be uneven.
