Indian Institute of Management Ranchi is a leading management institute

area was renamed as the strategy and entrepreneurship area to highlight
entrepreneurship as one of the focus areas of the institute.

cinematography, Socratic dialogue, water management, sports
management, human connect, drama, and theatre, and incorporating
compulsory courses on various topics such as the science of happiness and
tribes in India

Libraries" and "Drum Circles." Researching "Tribal Entrepreneurship" and

About the Program
Fundamentals of Career Unfolding & Success (FOCUS) Certification is a
summer management program with a certification from IIM Ranchi. FOCUS is
a comprehensive and immersive residential experience designed to unlock the
potential of MBA aspirants. This dynamic program offers a unique opportunity
to explore the multifaceted realms of business and management.

Through an engaging curriculum and interactive sessions, the program aims to

foster innovation, develop essential skills, and cultivate leadership qualities
crucial in today's dynamic business landscape. Participants will gain
invaluable insights from distinguished faculty members, industry experts, and
peers, enabling them to broaden their perspectives.

Furthermore, the program serves as a gateway for those interested in pursuing

an MBA or delving deeper into management. By providing a glimpse into the
various domains of business knowledge, this program empowers individuals
to make informed decisions about their future endeavors, be it continuing their
academic journey or embarking on new professional ventures.

FOCUS provides a glimpse into the campus life at an IIM Ranchi. The world-

03 FOCUS Certification
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Individuals who have completed their
graduation (bachelor's degree) from a recognized university or institution
or are pursuing any bachelor's degree program.
Candidates should have a valid CAT score in the last 12 months.

Application Process
Interested individuals must submit their application by filling out the Google
form.

Selection Criteria and Process

The participants will be selected from the applicants based on:
Statement of Purpose (SOP), 10th standard marks, 12th standard marks,
and CAT percentile.
The relevant faculty members will evaluate the applications and select the
candidates.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified through email.
Successful candidates will receive admission offers and instructions for fee
payment and other formalities.
Payment links will be provided in the offer letter through email.

Note: Applicants are advised to regularly check their email for any updates or

04 FOCUS Certification
Program Fees
The total program fee for the entire program, inclusive of GST, is INR
45,000/-. The fee covers the following:
Learning Resources and Certification upon successful completion.
Accommodation (single occupancy hostel rooms with common
washroom).
Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks, and Dinner) on all days.
WiFi access in the campus and access to online resources.

Payment Terms
The total program fee is fully payable at admission time in online
mode only, which shall be communicated over email to all eligible
and selected applicants.
Applicants are advised to check their email regularly for updates.

Q. Are there any early bird discounts or scholarships available for the
program?
A. No.

Q. Is there an age limit for applying for the Certification Program?

A. Yes, the minimum age requirement to apply for the program is the
completion of 18 years as of the last date of application.

Q. Can working professionals apply for the Certification Program?

A. Yes

Q. Will a certificate be provided upon completion of the program?

A. Yes, participants will receive a certificate from IIM Ranchi upon completing
the Program.

Q. Does IIM Ranchi provide transportation?

A. Participants have to arrange for transportation to explore the city. The
participants also have to arrange transportation to reach the IIM Ranchi
campus and back to their homes from the campus.

Q. Will participation in the Certification Program help me in the admission

process for the regular programs at IIM Ranchi?
A. This experiential program will not help secure admission to regular
programs like the MBA program at IIM Ranchi. However, such programs
would aid in the overall growth of the participants.

Q. What is IIM Ranchi's disciplinary policy?

A. If any misconduct or unwanted behaviour is found, the institute can ask the
participant to leave the program and the premises without refunding the
amount paid.

Q. Can the participants have guests along with them?

A. The participants cannot have any overnight guests with them. The
participants must sleep in the designated room allotted to them.

Q. Is separate accommodation available for boys and girls participants?

A. Separate accommodation will be provided for boys and girls. Boys and
girls participants are strictly prohibited from visiting each other’s
accommodation.
