PREPARATION OF SUBGRADE
1 Is format CL:01-A & CL:01-B for Surveying complied with?
2 PREPARATION AND EXCAVATION OF SUBGRADE SOIL to specified Power lines and corrosponding slopes 1%.
Check for Cleaning and Making up of Soft spots & other irregularities.
3 SAND - GRAVEL MIX FOR TRENCH FILLING WORK.
4 Check the formation of subgrade with specified Slopes.
5 Check for spreading in backfilling layers as specified and watering has been done on prior to the required proctor density
to the required compaction.
6 Check for finished surfaces, compacted thickness, camber, gradient lines and slope. Are they acceptable?

3 Check for Underground trenches / Hume pipes / Drain crossing / road crossing LAYOUTS, GRADES & CROSS -
SECTIONS OF COMPACTED SUBGRADE prior to spreading of aggregates.
4 Check for UNIFORM SPREAD THICKNESS of Aggregates.
5 Check for DRY ROLLING, using proper road roller.
6 Check for WET ROLLING of Aggregates and COMPACTION.
7 Check for FINISHED SURFACES, COMPACTED THICKNESS, CAMBER, LINES AND SLOPE.Are they acceptable?

INSULATIONS MATERIALS FOR WATER-PROOFING WORKS

1 Check Whether tack coat application is done properly.
2 Check for Uniform spread thickness of premix. Is it o.k.?
3 Check for finished surfaces,compacted thickness. gradient lines and slope: Are they acceptable.
UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE PIPES - INSTALLATION & TESTING work:
1 Approved drawing is available.
2 Make and related accessories are approved by client
3 Method Statement is approved by client
4 Ensure all the pipes & related accessories to be used are new and undamaged.
5 Ensure routing and layout is as per approved drawings.
6 Ensure pipe installation is done as per approved drawings.
7 Ensure slope is maintained for the pipes as per approved drawings.
8 Ensure all the site joints are completed / sealed properly with appropriate jointing materials.
9 Check the cleanouts / manholes installed as per approved drawings.
10 Ensure piping system is checked for any leaks at all joints (Visual Inspection by Smoke Test).
11 Ensure Gravity test is conducted as per approved method statement.

CORRECTIVE ACTION PROPOSED- Item wise.
